Well, this morning started out with a flat tire on my car which have run-flats. Let me tell you, run-flats are really overrrated. They look cool but in my opinion not worth it. I helped change the tire and got my hands dirty, you all would of been proud:) It didn’t take long and then I was on my way.

I have been sleeping like a baby this past week. I love it! Sleep is everything to me. It can make or break you. I have been faithfully running everyday too which is energizing me. Growing up around the NFL, Labor Day meant more than just a day off. Usually the following week the regular football season starts. Which meant weeks in and out of crossing my fingers hoping a win for the Cleveland Browns. So, I am excited that football is just around the corner. I have been watching HBO’s HardKnocks, this season is training camp with the Dallas Cowboys. My favorite episode is with Ms. Price, the cowboys #1 fan yelling at the players during training camp. The Cowboys have really won me over watching the show.

I cooked out on my grill last night and made homemade fries. Thats my weakness among many things, potatoes. I just love them! Now, to work it all off, I am going to go for a long run and then a weight workout. The temperature dropped here in AZ because of the monsoon storms so it’s really pleasant and a bit cooler. I’m loving the change.

I am listening to some Bernie Mac on Youtube right now. I love his stand up. He will be missed dearly. He is making my day of work go by smooth. I have twelve hours until I have to get up super early in the morning to catch a flight to California. I have to leave the house by 5am. It will be a long day but I like to fly in and out in the same day if possible. I love being home. Nothing beats sleeping in my own bed.

My trip to Vegas was a treat. I spent some good time with family. I think my favorite part was going to Ethel’s chocolate lounge during the day. mmmmmmmmmmmmm OMG!!! That place is to die for if you are a chocolate lover. They only have them in Chicago and in Nevada though. I would easily move to Nevada for this place.
